SUMMARY
Professionally operate company fleet in security operations, chauffeur the directors when required and run general
errands.
Job Description
a) Drive company vehicles safely, efficiently, and professionally
b) Participate in safety training and workshops as and when organized by the management
c) Always ensure cleanliness of the assigned vehicle and that the vehicle is always in good and
serviceable mechanical condition.
d) Carry out periodic checks on assigned vehicle to determine maintenance needs and submit timely
reports on the same;
e) Drive carefully always and ensure the safety of passenger(s), other road users and the assigned
vehicle.
f) Report any incident that involves injury, damage to any passenger, pedestrian or third–party
property immediately.
g) Ensure joint handing and taking over of the vehicle where applicable, with relevant entries made
in the vehicle occurrence book with respect to the status of the vehicle.
h) Ensure all vehicles related reports/log sheets are done on a monthly basis and submitted to the
transport & logistics officer.
i) Maintain accurate and up–to–date records on vehicle work tickets i.e., fuel purchases, incident
reports, accident reports and vehicle condition reports that are requested by management.
j) Monitor the vehicle service cycle and report whenever due, i.e., at least 1000 kilometers to the next
service.
k) Report for action whenever licenses and insurance are due for renewal.
l) Ensure the vehicle tools and accessories are intact while taking over duties.
m) Make accurate entries in the work ticket for every single movement made with the vehicle.
n) Ensure that all journeys are authorized while on duty

Minimum Requirements
§ Clean NTSA BCE license
§ Valid police clearance certificate
§ At least 5 years driving experience
§ O – Level certificate or its equivalent
§ Age between 28 and 40 years
Key Competencies
§ Familiar with the road network in Kenya, including Nairobi.
§ Good interpersonal and communication skills.
§ Working experience in the private security industry will be an added advantage.
§ Flexibility in working during different shifts including weekends and holidays
§ Basic knowledge on motor vehicle mechanics will be an added advantage.
Job Location: Nyanza and Western Regions with frequent travelling to other cities and towns in
Kenya.
